Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-07-06
1. Overview
This policy explains what information EveryTie (the “Service”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible. This policy is written to reflect common requirements of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA); it describes only practices we can actually stand behind at launch.
2. What we collect
The Service is a static, informational website with no accounts, logins, or payments. We do not ask you for personal information. The following is processed automatically:
- Standard connection / access logs — such as your IP address, browser “user-agent”, the page requested, referring page, and timestamp. These are generated automatically to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages), which processes these as our service provider.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregate-only page counts. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and shows us totals, not individuals.
- Google Analytics 4 — used to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, approximate region, session and retention patterns). GA4 may use cookies or similar identifiers. Where consent is required (EEA/UK), GA4 runs only if you accept the consent banner; declining it does not limit the site in any way. We use IP-level data only in the aggregated form Google reports; we do not build advertising profiles.
- Google Search Console — aggregate search-query statistics reported to us by Google about how people find the site in Google Search; nothing is collected on this site itself.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
3. Cookies
Reading the site requires no cookies, and the site itself sets none. The only cookies that may be set are Google Analytics cookies described above — and for visitors in regions where consent is required (EEA/UK), only after you accept the consent banner. You can also block analytics with browser settings or extensions (e.g. Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on); every part of the site works with analytics blocked.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and maintain the Service (for example, processing server logs to prevent abuse and diagnose errors), balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for non-essential analytics cookies (Google Analytics) where consent is required (EEA/UK): they run only after you accept the banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information, or delete your information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and request portability of your information (GDPR);
- Know what categories of information are collected and request deletion (CCPA/CPRA);
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information, so there is no such activity to opt out of;
- be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, contact us at hello@everytie.com. We may need to verify your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
6. Data retention
We operate no servers of our own and do not receive raw access logs: connection logs are processed and retained by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form for as long as needed to understand long-term usage of the Service; Google Analytics user-level data is subject to Google’s retention controls, which we set to the shortest available period.
7. International data transfers
The Service and its providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Our providers are Cloudflare and Google (see section 2); where required, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers maintain, including Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable adequacy frameworks.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, highlight them on the site.
